Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Financial Accountant that is an experienced and analytical individual to join our Oil & Gas Pipeline client. This role will be responsible for the preparation and support of monthly operational cost reports and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports. Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with the wider business in the aggregation of financial information to assist in the documentation, review, and communication.
* Work in office as necessary (downtown Chicago)*
Duties Include:
The salary range for this full-time role is $85,000 -$95,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Financial Accountant that is an experienced and analytical individual to join our Oil & Gas Pipeline client. Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with the wider business in the aggregation of financial information to assist in the documentation, review, and communication.

Duties Include:
- Track financial performance against budget monthly and annually
- Manage and update monthly forecasts and provide variation reports
- Reconcile actuals vs. forecasted amounts per month
- Review and track project financial performance
- Sox control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in SAP and Ariba is a plus
- Experience utilizing data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven 2-5 years of post-grad experience in financial analysis and reporting, or related role.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
