Job Summary
The Personal Care Attendant will work closely with our team to provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and ensuring the overall well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide support with meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Encourage participation in recreational and leisure activities.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
- Physical stamina to perform daily tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
