Turning Point Global Solutions LLC (TurningPoint) is seeking a Telecom Analyst to join our dynamic team! This position is contingent upon program award.
As a Telecom Analyst, you will support federal government clients in telecom data collection, carrier services, agency communication requirements including voice and data, order processing, inventory management, invoice reconciliation, billing audits, and contract transitions. Your role will involve analyzing telecom inventory, billing, service orders, and audits while coordinating with telecom carriers using the NiOS system. You will also develop reports on pricing, cost management, service, inventory, project status, and intra-agency billing using TurningPoint’s Telecom Lifecycle and Expense Management Solution, NiOS.
This position spans all telecom aspects, including wireline, wireless, satellite, equipment, licenses, security, cloud infrastructure services, and professional services. Proficiency in wireline and wireless technologies is preferred, and experience in federal telecom and contracting is key to quickly adding value in this role.
Location: TurningPoint headquarters in Rockville, MD with hybrid option.
What You’ll Do
As Telecom Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for:
Collecting, Analyzing, and Normalizing disparate source date for migration to web-based platform.
Preparing and analyzing telecom data with relationship to system requirements/uploads.
Participating in daily/weekly validation, and reconciliation of inventory, and electronic invoices.
Assisting with optimization and cost reduction recommendations and documentation.
Performing application functional testing.
Tracking of order and dispute progress, and escalation as needed.
Addressing Tier 1 Support questions, referring technical issues and new requirements to TurningPoint Tier 2 for resolution, and tracking them to resolution.
Working with stakeholders in process definition and improvement.
Coordinating and developing regular reports and responses to ad-hoc data calls.
What We’re Looking For

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of Telecom Data Analysis experience
Experience in the federal telecom and contracting environment.
Proficiency with data and billing analysis.
Experience with provisioning telecommunication services.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding and application of Project Management principles.
Self-management skills to be accountable for specific deliverables.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in wireline telecom is preferred.
Skilled in the development of documentation, customer reports, and data spreadsheets.
Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams.
Understanding of data bases and troubleshooting, validating, exporting, and loading data.
Experience with telecom carrier web portals, and carrier service ordering.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000. This range is a general guideline only as compensation decisions are based on relevant experience and qualifications.
