About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist - Case Manager III to join our team at Turning Point of Central California, Inc. This role is a vital part of our organization's mission to provide exceptional mental health services to individuals in need.
As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist - Case Manager III, you will be responsible for providing specialized services to clients, including mental health interventions, case management, and linkage to other community partners. Your primary goal will be to help clients achieve their treatment plan goals by providing support, guidance, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mental health services to children, youth, and care providers in various settings, including client residences, schools, community locations, tele-health platforms, and clinic sites.
- Develop and implement mental health interventions aligned with Consumer Wellness Plans (CWPs) to promote behavioral improvements and social skills development.
- Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless delivery of mental health services and address client needs.
- Document service provision in electronic medical records (EMRs) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage referrals from various sources, including telephone, walk-in, fax, and email.
- Ensure all new referrals are logged and entered into the EMR system in a timely fashion.
- Conduct crisis evaluations, develop contingency plans, and interface with county psychiatric emergency teams as needed.
- Provide therapeutic behavioral services (TBS) and personal service agreements (PSAs) to consumers as assigned by Team Leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Counseling in a related field, along with four years of full-time work experience in direct client services within mental health, social services, education, or similar environments.
- Effective communication skills in written and spoken English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse ethnic, religious, socioeconomic, and professional groups.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), and tele-health platforms.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
- Pass a criminal background check.

- A competitive salary range: $21.75 - $27.81/hour (Class 130 Bilingual) or $21.13 - $26.46/hour (Class 125 Monolingual).
