Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and compassionate Recovery House Manager.
The primary responsibility of a House Manager will be to be a live-in position that will maintain an environment that is safe, comfortable, and secure for our members. The position will report directly to the recovery House Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Maintain ethical and personal behavioral standards and boundaries with members.
- Welcome and introduce new members to all existing members.
- Conduct residence orientations, including but not limited to safety drills and locations of fire extinguishers, evacuation procedures, exit routes, and access to first aid kits.
- Ensure that members have the items they need. Linen, hygiene products, clean clothes, ect.
- Review house rules with all new members.
- Assign household chores to members.
- Monitor member's bedrooms for cleanliness and make sure members are respecting common areas.
- Monitor adherence to house rules.
- Observe and report any unusual behaviors or conflicts between members.
- Facilitate house meetings and occasional social and recreational outings.
Qualifications
Strong foundation and self-care plan within your own recovery.
Knowledge of substance use disorders.
Valid drivers license.
