Job Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Code Inspector and Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting buildings and properties to ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety regulations, and zoning standards.
Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections, reviewing permit applications, and providing detailed reports to recommend solutions to maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular field inspections throughout all phases of construction, from planning to final certificate of occupancy.
- Conduct field investigations; and perform all required follow-up functions to gain compliance, including letters, inspections, calls, meetings, and discussions to ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances.
- Review project plans for all new buildings, alterations, additions, and demolitions.
- Enforce policies and procedures; Maintain a thorough understanding of established company and departmental policies and procedures.
