What does a Porter/Runner do?
- Always provides prompt and courteous food & beverage services to every guest by bringing food to table in a timely manner.
- Continually monitors stock levels and obtains supplies and equipment for refreshment bars.
- Performs routine inventory of all required refreshment bar items daily. Remains up to date on all cocktail ingredients, garnishes, and appropriate stemware.
- Understands the importance of prompt and efficient service and continually demonstrates this to the Bartenders, Beverage Servers and Supervisors.
To be successful as a Porter/Runner, you'll need:
- the ability to speak English.
- previous food & beverage experience.
- hand coordination for grasping objects up to 5 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
