Safety Technician Entry level

Turnkey Safety Solutions is looking for a candidate as a Safety Technician.

our current office is located in Denville NJ. we will be opening an office in the Brodheadsville PA are January 2025

weekly Monday- Friday 8 am to 4pm

Essential Functions:

-Perform documented, daily inspections of work sites to confirm compliance

-Prepare and/or assist subcontractors in the preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for features of work

-Conduct accident and near miss investigations to determine root cause on site.

-Perform training with client employees formally and informally.

- Maintain a safety and health deficiency tracking system that monitors outstanding deficiencies until resolution

-Complete and/or stay up-to-date on all safety and health training as required

-Communicate safety and health issues or concerns

This position will be teaching the following courses: CPR/FA and Possibly other courses.

• Provide students with basic direction, instruction and assistance in designated area(s) of instruction.
• Recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Utilize workplace language and behavior expectations in the classroom; on a routine basis, workplace requirements; inquire if individual students need assistance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment.
• Administer and correct tests; maintain progress and attendance reports.
• Control use of equipment and supplies; recommend purchases.
• Develop and conduct enrichment programs as assigned.
• Maintain records, cleanliness and classroom discipline.

Experience bonuses but not required:

OSHA 30

Tower climbing

second language( Spanish or Russia preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
