What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROJECT ARCHITECT/ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER position at Turpentine Design?
MAJOR DUTIES: This role will support our principal architect with new building and renovation designs for our various clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client and/or architect. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client and/or architect in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with interior design and architecture trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients. Our clients are looking for candidates with experience in architectural design and collaboration with industrial, graphic design, and environmental disciplines. This role also involves management of various design projects and operations, retail design, and office design.
QUALIFICATIONS: Fluent knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketchup. Understanding of construction documents.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: Candidates should have 3 years in commercial project experience, including construction documents. Professional Registration is not required.
