Job Overview:
We are looking for friendly, customer-focused, and motivated individuals to join our FOH team. As a FOH team member, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience. Whether you are greeting guests, taking orders, or assisting in various other tasks, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and offering information about daily specials.
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper communication with the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a positive and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including wiping down tables and clearing plates.
- Work closely with both the kitchen and BOH team to ensure smooth service flow.
- Process guest payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions.
- Help with setup and breakdown of the dining area, including setting tables, refilling supplies, and restocking condiments.
- Assist in the overall cleanliness and organization of the FOH area, including restrooms and entryways.
- Ensure all guests are satisfied with their meals and experiences, seeking feedback where appropriate.
- Adhere to company policies and health and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [insert weight] pounds.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a full-service restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of the restaurant's menu, including food and drink offerings.
