Tutor, High School Chemistry

Description of the Role

Welcome to Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego! We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced tutor to join our team as a High School Chemistry Tutor. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one instruction and support to high school students in the subject of Chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Create lesson plans and tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Review and explain course materials, conduct practice exercises, and facilitate discussions
• Help students understand complex concepts and improve their problem-solving skills
• Monitor student progress, track performance, and provide constructive feedback
• Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and exam review

Requirements

• Previous experience tutoring or teaching high school Chemistry
• Excellent knowledge of Chemistry curriculum and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and able to work with students of different learning abilities
