Description of the role:
Tutor Doctor seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Tutor in High School Statistics. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to high school students in the subject of Statistics. You will assist students in understanding statistical concepts, guide problem-solving techniques, and support them in their coursework.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized tutoring sessions to high school students in the subject of Statistics
- Assist students in understanding concepts, problem-solving, and homework completion
- Create a supportive and motivating learning environment
- Identify areas of improvement and tailor tutoring methods to meet individual student needs
- Track student progress and provide feedback to parents
Requirements:
- Proven experience and expertise in Statistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Patient, understanding, and supportive nature
- Punctual and reliable
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred)
- Aid students with Executive Functioning skills such as time management, study skills, responsibility and prioritization.
