Summary

We need an in person organic chemistry tutor. The client is willing to meet at the Rochester library. Frequency Is once a week. Compensation is $22 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to create tailored test preparation plans.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on specific subjects and test strategies.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to enhance understanding.
• Utilize various educational resources and tools to engage students effectively.
• Communicate regularly about student progress and areas for improvement.
• Help students develop effective study habits and test-taking strategies.
• Stay updated on current testing formats and requirements for various exams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Organic Chemistry.
• Experience in adult education or working with diverse learning styles is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best results.
• Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with educational technology and resources for remote learning.
