Duties
- Perform residential painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing.
- Assist in renovations and remodeling projects by collaborating with carpenters and other trades.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including caulking and minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate project needs and timelines.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential painting or similar labor-intensive roles is preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and equipment related to painting, caulking, and general maintenance is essential.
- Skills in carpentry or maintenance person tasks will be considered a plus.
- A willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to various project requirements is necessary.
- Valid driver's license and access to transportation is necessary as we work in many locations throughout Lorain and Elyria
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
