Equipment Operator (3rd Shift)

Summary An Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately sequencing parts per customer specifications, following work instructions and verifying sequence order by using the scanning process. Safely and efficiently operate and maintain mobile warehouse equipment such as tugger or crane and hoist. Sequence products per customer specifications (product sequencing refers to the process of arranging products in a specific order) Use RF scanning equipment to verify sequencing information. Operate hand tools, assembly equipment, and basic office / warehouse equipment. Sort products for quality checking and defect containment. Perform quality checks per company / customer specifications Ensure products are labeled and free from defects. Follow all safety and operational guidelines associated with operating crane and hoist equipment and / or mobile equipment. Accurately complete all paperwork / documentation associated with the position. Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping or removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Work Environment This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and vests are required for personal protective equipment (PPE). Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Full-Time, follows customer schedule, currently Monday - Saturday (guaranteed overtime) Shift Availability : Second Shift : 2 : 30 pm - 11 : 00 pm Third Shift : 10 : 30 pm - 7 : 00am Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required. Regular and reliable attendance at work is expected. Travel No travel is expected in this position.
