Summary
The Maintenance Manager will manage, coordinate, and lead all maintenance activities to ensure that maximum operational potential is realized. This position reports to the plant manager and will oversee two local facilities.
Essential Functions

- Manage the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
- Support, manage, and evaluate the Maintenance Department personnel in their performance, training, and development while prioritizing job tasks and work assignments
- Primary on-site contact for IT and Maintenance Support
- Managing and documenting daily maintenance procedures and activities
- Manage daily inspections and preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Coordinate the emergency call process for all equipment, including troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems, identifying the root cause of problems, and repairing
- Execute the processes for emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment during production hours and scheduled maintenance and repairs of equipment during production and non-production times
- Assure quality execution of all maintenance and utility activities while ensuring that all safety procedures are followed
- Optimize costs through effective budget planning and management
- Execute and provide support for equipment modifications related to safety, new installations, or equipment improvements
- Maintain the facilities and equipment per good manufacturing practices to meet the expectations of operations and safety requirements
- Partner with operations on the implementation of equipment and manufacturing projects, and process improvements, including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation of projects
- Perform administrative duties, including reports, creating documents, and reviews

The employee frequently needs to stand, walk, and use their hands for tasks such as fingering, handling, or feeling objects and reaching with their hands and arms. Occasionally, the associate may need to lift items weighing up to 51 pounds, while any weight greater than 51 pounds will require assistance. Specific vision abilities necessary for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse maintenance environment. This role routinely uses a variety of maintenance equipment involving electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and fabrication functions.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full-Time, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required, as is on-call availability.
Travel
This role requires splitting time between two primary locations approximately two hours apart. Up to 50% of the travel commitment is expected to be travel between sites, including routine travel to ensure effective management and collaboration.
