We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial professional with a proven track record in financial management, accounting, inventory control, and implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. The Director of Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company, optimizing accounting processes, managing inventory effectively, leading the budgeting process, and leveraging data to provide valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Financial Reporting : Prepares accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Oversees the coordination of resources for the annual financial review process.
- F&A Management : Manages accounting and finance activities. Serves as an escalation point for issues and inquiries, as needed.
- Inventory Control and Management : Develops and implements strategies for effective inventory control, ensuring optimal levels and minimizing carrying costs. Collaborates with operations and supply chain teams to streamline inventory processes and enhance accuracy.
- Acquisitions : Oversees the management and reconciliation of finance and accounting data between the organization and the acquired company.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Leads the financial budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish accurate and achievable financial targets. Develops and manages annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Monitors actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, indentifying variances, and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Data Analysis and Financial Insight. ERP Solution Evaluation and Implementation : Conducts in-depth analysis of the company's financial, inventory, and budgeting data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement. Utilize financial, inventory, and budgeting data to provide valuable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Financial Planning : Works closely with executive leadership to develop and execute financial, inventory, and budgeting strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Additional Responsibilities : Performs other duties as assigned.
