PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: This position will report directly to the Quality Manager/Quality Engineer and work together with the quality team to follow procedures and work instructions to achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety assuring internal and external customer satisfaction. The quality inspector will also perform developmental work for research projects, improvement initiatives, and maintain and develop overall quality while maintaining the testing equipment to provide technical support and guidance on projects regarding lab testing and analysis to assist in overall evaluations of products, processes, and potential raw material
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Follow all Safety Guidelines & Procedures (i.e. LOTO, Guarding).
• Inspect incoming raw material as called out in SOP RPG055 4.12 & 4.19.
• Work closely with receiving to ensure all lots of material that need to be tested get pulled when received.
• Provide administrative support for the Quality Department.
• Follow and interpret policies and procedures.
• Data input and review.
• Actively participate in the 6S Process and maintain housekeeping during the shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Nonwovens experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work on a team as well as independently.
• Ability to work in a hot/cold manufacturing environment, which can include standing and/or sitting for the duration of the task.
• Ability to transport or move up to 5lbs. of material.
• Ability to understand and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and/or other employees.
• Ability to work 8 hours shift and overtime when business demands.
