What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Server position at Tween Waters Island Resort?
We are looking for friendly, courteous and reliable people to join our dynamic team here at Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa.
Full-time and part-time hours; morning shifts available; Monday-Sunday including holidays.

Education requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED certificate
- Minimum of 2 years CURRENT service experience in food service, bartending (preferred but not required for Server positions) and general hospitality
- Serve Safe Food Handler certification (preferred)
Job Requirements:
- Ability to interact constructively and cordially with guests
- Be able to memorize menu items and 'daily specials', answer related questions and make menu suggestions
- Ability to learn proper wine service
- Be able to take orders efficiently and enter them in a timely and accurate fashion in the MICROS POS system
- Ensure the timely and correct delivery of food and beverages to our guests
- Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
- Ability to process payments accurately
- Willingness and ability to complete side work as required
- Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume setting
- Maintain clean and sanitized work stations
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Maintain stock supplies
- Thorough completion and documentation of assigned opening and closing procedures
- Assisting as directed in the set-up and / or breakdown of function areas
- Punctuality and ability to observe regular and consistent attendance including daily line-ups
- Contribute to a positive team environment
