Food Runner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to enhance the dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by clearing plates, utensils, and any debris promptly.
• Help set up for banquets or special events as needed, ensuring all food service areas are prepared for guest arrival.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food or beverages safely.
