You will join a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers who are at the forefront of AI/ML applications for the company. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with leaders from different teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, and Technology) and our growing team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts.
You will identify opportunities, create roadmaps, and deliver data products that will have an enormous impact on the business from week one.
About The Job
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the development and deployment of machine learning models that optimize business decisions: Portfolio optimization, Marketing Media modeling & Spend allocation, and process optimization. You will utilize your strong problem-solving skills, computational experience, and business analytics to solve real-world problems at scale. You will design and implement a variety of data products to support and drive business operations, working cross-functionally with other business leaders.
Required Skills And Experience
- Proficient in Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, sci-kit-learn, etc.) and SQL.
- Knowledgeable of the best practices such as version control (git), documentation, environments, unit tests, CI/CD, and containerization.
- Professional experience in collaborating with the marketing department (Portfolio Optimization, Media Mix Modeling, campaign efficiency) and into embedding insights and data products into stakeholder processes.
- Experience in model deployment, e.g. MWAA Snowflake & Tableau.
- Experience leading multiple domains in a company, and in being the point of contact with external stakeholders. Able to work with cross-functional teams. Proven ROI returns for business.
- Professional habits around model validation, testing, and tracking.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with all types of stakeholders (from junior colleagues, to non technical stakeholders and execs.)
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience. Strong quantitative background.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Experience with ML services like FastApi, Feature Store, Model registries
- Experience with model monitoring (drift / performance, confidence intervals
- Comfortable in working on the line between data science and data engineering and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Experience with stakeholder Management, and in working independently with business partners
- An Agile development mindset, appreciating the benefit of constant iteration and improvement. A very high bar for output quality, while balancing long and short term solutions.
