Associate Portfolio Manager – Fixed Income Description
Our client, a well-established investment and wealth management firm, is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to join their fixed income team in Shelton, CT. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Administration, you will work closely with research analysts, traders, and other investment professionals to drive performance and ensure portfolios align with client objectives. Associate Portfolio Manager – Fixed Income Responsibilities
• Oversee and optimize fixed income portfolios
• Develop investment strategies based on macroeconomic analysis and market trends
• Conduct credit analysis, interest rate forecasting, and yield curve positioning
• Monitor portfolio risk, performance attribution, and compliance
• Collaborate with research analysts, traders, and other investment professionals
• Communicate market insights and portfolio performance to clients and stakeholders
Associate Portfolio Manager – Fixed Income Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business required (MBA or CFA a plus)
• 3 years of experience in fixed income portfolio management required
• Expertise in government bonds, corporate bonds, and municipals required
• Advanced bond mathematical skills required
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage clients required
• Must be willing to work onsite Mon-Thurs
