[REMOTE] Insurance Territory Manager (commercial insurance exp. req.) Description
Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a Remote Territory Sales Manager to join their Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing agency relationships including setting and monitoring goals, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up while delivering superior levels of service. You’ll balance your time between nurturing relationships through virtual touchpoints and making in-person visits. About 70% of your time will be spent on account management, nurturing relationships with the existing 25-35 agencies with the remaining time spent identifying prospective new partners. To be chosen for this role, you must have a strong commercial insurance background whether from sales, underwriting, or customer service. • Identify new agencies in territory to contact
• Collaborate to determine contracted agency eligibility
• Report findings and meeting results timely and consistently
• Evaluate and maintain contact with agents and underwriters
• Assist agents to help build profitable book of business
• Assist underwriting and brokers as needed
• Conduct in person meetings and conference calls with agency contacts
• Maintain a log of contacts including owners, producers, and support staff
• Discuss your agency plan and call objectives with VP of Marketing
[REMOTE] Insurance Territory Manager (commercial insurance exp. req.) Qualifications
• 5 years commercial property or casualty line insurance experience required
• Background working for either an insurance agency or insurance carrier required
• 50% travel required (typically day trips; company car provided)
