Controller Description
Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Controller to join their team (approx. 40 employees) just north of Hartford, Connecticut. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll oversee accounting, financial planning, and cash flow management. Success in this role means translating financial data into actionable business intelligence, collaborating with leadership and balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong communication skills, capable of driving both financial performance and a positive workplace culture. Controller Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the accounting department (2)
• Analyze the company’s financial performance
• Identify risks and drive strategic decisions
• Optimize cash management and net working capital
• Collaborate with the management team on financial standings
• Oversee all financial audits
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards
• Optimize internal controls and risk management
Controller Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7 years of full-cycle accounting experience required
• Strong cost accounting knowledge required
• Must be willing to work onsite
