Logistics & Inventory Manager (supply chain & inventory planning exp. req.) Description
Our client, a well-established chemical manufacturer with a loyal clientele, is looking for a data-driven and strategic Logistics & Inventory Planning Manager to add to their team (<150 company-wide) in the Nashville area. You’ll play a crucial leadership role focused on enhancing purchasing strategies and maximizing inventory availability. Leading their supply chain department (3 direct/15 indirect) including two warehouses (10,000 SKUs), this position combines purchasing, inventory management, and logistics to boost operational efficiency and achieve business objectives. Although a background in a chemical environment would be helpful, it is much more important to find a forward-thinking, continuous improvement-minded thought leader who can seamlessly align manufacturing objectives with inventory planning. Someone who enjoys leveraging data to improve systems, reduce waste, and strengthen customer relationships through on-time delivery. With clients in aerospace, military, and oil & gas, their expansive client base allows for more insulation from economic sensitivities resulting in a more stable, consistent financial performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values a culture-focused, employee-first environment and doesn’t want to choose between career fulfillment and financial stability.
