Twigg Cycles in Hagerstown Maryland is hiring a Triumph Champion / Full Time Motorcycle Sales Representative to join our Sales Team. We are family owned and operated for more than 92 years and provide a fun, exciting and challenging work atmosphere.
Summary Description:
This position will require a variety of product knowledge and great customer service skills. Twigg Cycles is a full service dealership that sells powersport machines from Triumph, Indian Motorcycle, Kawasaki, Honda, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha along with a wide variety of pre-owned units. 3 month training period with a guaranteed pay plan.
TRIUMPH CHAMPION: Must be a passionate and Triumph Centric staff member to be our designated Triumph Champion, our in house Triumph Expert on all things Triumph. This person is in charge of staying up-to-date on Triumph products, marketing, and promotions, as well as being the liaison between Triumph and your staff.
· REQUIREMENTS TO BE A TRIUMPH CHAMPION:
· Triumph Champion(s), must maintain 100% Induction and Silver level training at all times. Bronze, Silver and Gold level training will also be required for Triumph Champion(s). These courses are typically face to face or virtual delivery. Dates for these courses will be provided through TOL Notices.
· Responsible for maintaining the Triumph showroom
1. − Ensure all current POP materials are displayed within one week of arrival, dealer website reflects current offers, and Triumph TV is connected to the internet and TV volume is on for customers
2. − Ensure bikes are clean and displayed properly (this includes usage of the bike stands) − Support dealership display bike compliance
3. − Ensure clothing and accessory items are on display and the walls have no merchandise holes per the planograms or as approved by your Regional Manager
4. − Ensure only Triumph-branded merchandise in Triumph-designated areas (any exceptions must be approved by Regional Manager)
5. Ensure Triumph-related news and urgent information is passed along to the other staff members Attend annual North American Dealer Conference and/or Annual Immersion Event*
· Must wear Triumph or Twigg Cycles branded apparel while on duty
· Champion should ensure Triumph Build a bike is set up, connected and running for customer use each business day
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 1 years sales experience
- Motorcycle or automotive sales preferred
- Need a valid Motorcycle license
- Self motivated, positive and driven attitude
- Energetic and professional approach to customer service
- Powersports product knowledge a plus
