Twin Cities Recovery Center is an ABA facility that specializes in providing 1-1 care for children on the spectrum and with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help our clients progress in areas such as receptive and expressive communication, learning/play/motor skills, self-help goals and reduce interfering or unwanted behaviors. At Twin Cities Recovery Center, we also support our clients with in-house speech and occupational therapy. Our mission is to empower our clients that enter the facility and encourage independence. We believe that every child is different and every therapy approach is as unique as they are.
Role Description
This is a full-time role of 40/hours a week for an ABA Therapist. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for providing applied behavior analysis therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, monitoring and documenting progress, and collaborating with family members and other healthcare professionals. This is an on-site role located in Bloomington, MN. It is also expected to remain 1-1 with your client at all times, ensure their safety by collaborating with management, cleaning up after the clients and submitting progress notes daily.
Qualifications
- Experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Skills in conducting trials and monitoring progress.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or enrolled in a Bachelor's program or related field.
