APi Garage Door is seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation Manager to join our Garage Door Store team in Waite Park, MN. In this key leadership role, you will oversee our Installation Department, ensuring smooth operations while driving profitable growth. Your responsibilities will include managing and motivating Installation team members, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Oversee the administrative and customer service functions of the installation team.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer issues as they arise, including answering incoming calls and returning calls.
- Promote open and positive communication (both in verbal and written form) with employees, departments, customers, and vendors.
- Maintain high quality service delivery in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner.
- Coordinate scheduling and dispatching for installation team.
- Deliver highly coordinated projects to the installers for efficient execution of projects.
- Knowledge of status of ongoing projects.
- Coordinate and perform administrative tasks, including reviewing timecards, paperwork, work orders, and follow up action where needed.
- Deliver completed projects to billing department in real-time.
- Lead weekly Look Ahead meeting with Project Managers and warehouse leadership.
- Promote safety always; participate in weekly toolbox talks, and ensure team has necessary safety gear and tools.
- Perform on-site safety audits (min. 4 per month).
- Oversee that monthly truck inspections are completed.
- Oversee the Installation team vehicle / equipment management.
- Proactive and reactive regulation of all installation personnel including hiring, training, motivating, career development, reviews and safety.
- Analyze installation productivity and recommend changes to improve customer service and profitability.
- Manage field employee tool supplies and tool conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
