What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Patient Care Coordinator position at Twin Creeks Dental?
We are a modern dental office dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our patients. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment while delivering high-quality dental care. We are seeking for a patient care coordinator/front desk receptionist. As the first face our patients seem you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and friendly atmosphere. In addition to greeting patients and managing front desk duties, you will also assist with treatment planning and support the office manager with various tasks. We are looking for a team player with a great attitude.
Pay is $18/hour with no experience, can be negotiated depending on experience level
Responsibilities include:
-Great and welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
-Manage front desk duties, including taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
-Collaborate with office manager to ensure smooth operation of daily tasks
-Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
-Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and ordering office supplies
-Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients throughout their dental experience
Requirements:
-High school diploma
-Previous experience in dentistry is preferred but not required
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
-Proficiency in computer applications and dental software
-Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and passion for dental care
Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to: greeting patients, setting up appointments, verifying insurance, treatment presentation, collecting copayments, answering phone calls, patient communications, and other administrative duties.
Work hours would be:
9:30 AM - 6:30 PM on Mondays and Fridays,
10:00 AM - 7:00 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays,
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM very occasional Saturdays (usually twice a month during our busy season in fall/winter)
Our business hours are changing in 2025, this will be discussed in the interview!
Benefits include: Health insurance, one week PTO, and Simple IRA match available after 1 year of employment. Sick pay of 40 hours after completing 90 days of employment. Lunch provided on Fridays!
