Makes deposits for the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office as needed.
- Prepares and process all incoming civil documents for the Sheriff's office, which may include summons, warrants of distrant, garnishments, protection orders, etc.
- Arranges for the Sheriff's sales under authority of Writ of Execution.
- Answers questions and provides information to individuals coming to the office or over the phone.
- Prepare returns of 'Service on Papers served' documents, from individuals who come to the Sheriff's Office.
- Research Idaho Code on civil processing.
- Scan, file and shred documents as needed.
- Assists landlords in acquiring help to complete 'Notice to Vacate' forms
- Assists other positions within the Sheriff's Department as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Office clerical experience
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Light bookkeeping experience
- Computer skills
- Typing (30 wpm)
- Sitting with intermittent moving in an office environment, lifting of office supplies (e.g., Binders, etc.) talking and hearing in person and by telephone memorizing and seeing (e.g., documents, etc.)
- Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering and grasping
- Manual dexterity to perform office functions (e.g., typing, filing, collating operating office machine, 10-key, etc.)
- Repetitive motions (typing) required 30% of workday
- Public relations skills
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures
- Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately with or without reasonable accommodations and without endangering incumbent or other employees.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
- High School graduate, with at least two years college course work in criminal justice or related area; Associate's Degree is preferred; and
- Previous experience in law enforcement preferred; and
- A valid Driver's License; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position may be considered.
- Must successfully pass background investigation relevant to the position, including fingerprints and remain in good standing for the duration of employment with the County.
