Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the clinic.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, medications, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary technicians with patient intake and preparation for examinations.
- Provide information to clients about animal care, medication administration, and veterinary terminology.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kennel operations, animal anatomy knowledge, and animal husbandry practices is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
- Experience in front desk operations or customer service roles is beneficial.
