Summary
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team at TWIN MRO. In this role, you will be relied upon to work with engine manuals as well as technical data to assist in the creation of operation sheets, inspection method sheets, technical drawings and other job shop paperwork related to the processing of turbine engine parts for repair or overhaul. The Engineering Technician may also be tasked with producing 3D CAD models and drawings for internal shop tooling jobs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data related to turbine component performance.
- Support and facilitate operational efforts to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Employ CAD software for design modifications and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement solutions for mechanical challenges.
Requirements
- Technical aptitude and an excellent attention to detail.
- General familiarity with manufacturing and machine shop processes.
- Basic understanding of inspection tools and methods used in the machine shop.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing staff.
- Knowledge of (or willingness to train on) 3D CAD software (Solidworks or similar).
- AS in Engineering or technical certificate is a plus but not required.
- Previous work experience in an Overhaul & Repair environment is a plus but NOT required.
