Position Summary: Organizes and directs the development and implementation of the Expanded Learning Program and related after school activities at an assigned school site; coordinates communication and resources to comply with grant requirements to provide a safe after school learning environment for students and assures school site program activities comply with established laws, codes, rules and regulations. Builds partnerships between regular day teachers, program staff, administrators, students, family and community organizations.

Salary: $23.39 - $30.94 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience (new hire maximum of step 5).
Location: Westside Elementary
Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4 hours per day (Full district contribution for 6 hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).
Education and Experience: The position requires an Associate degree (or college/university units equal to an AA degree) in child development, social science, psychology or similar discipline and one year of experience in an early childhood, primary or secondary education environment. Bilingual English/Spanish competency is preferred.
