Summary
Maintains and controls the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provide clerical and administrative support for management personnel
Attach invoices in the Accounts Payable module.
Open, sort, and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail and overnight packages.
Collate paperwork (i.e. match customer invoices with work orders).
Maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
File and maintain records either manually or electronically (i.e. scanning).
Operate office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
Review and prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; and reconciling accounts.
Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions to ensure that all invoices are being paid timely and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures.
Prepares payments and accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; and reconciling accounts.
Protects Twin Stars’ values by keeping information confidential.
Manage employee’s credit card applications and charges.
Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the CFO or others.

Working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, and internet navigation.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility. This position occasionally requires overtime.
Required Education and Experience
2 years of general accounting, corporate accounting, or general ledger experience. Knowledge of office administration and procedures, general bookkeeping procedures, and proficient in relevant computer software. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
