What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny position at Twinkle Toes Nanny Agency Pinellas/Sarasota?
Family is looking for someone for the next year and a half to two years, ideally long term. Family and children love spending time outside and would like the nanny to enjoy doing as well. They also like to focus on interactive play and reading books etc. Baby is breastfed but also takes the bottle well. They try to keep a routine/nap schedule for their oldest, he’s a very active kid. Want to ensure you’re comfortable with the dog, she is well trained.
Requirements:
✔ Minimum experience caring for infants as young as 3-4 months old (with verifiable references)
✔ Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent
✔ Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to get to and from work
✔ CPR certification (or willing to obtain certification)
✔ Must be able to pass a background check
✔ Reliable, professional, and passionate about working with children
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying play areas and children's belongings.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure CPR protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
