They should also have excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation. Additionally, CPR certification is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Full Time Dental Hygienist, you will provide essential dental care and education to patients. You will work closely with our team of dentists and hygienists to ensure that every patient receives personalized attention and comprehensive care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and staff.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). You should also have excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation. Additionally, CPR certification is a must. Preferred experience includes using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. A passion for enhancing patient dental health and a desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills are also highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing. You must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year is also necessary.
