Two Barrels is looking for a VP of Legal to join our executive team. This position is based in the Spokane Area in Washington State, and relocation assistance is available.Location : Spokane, WA areaDuration : Full TimeWage : Up to $300,000 / year Relocation Package. We are privately owned which means there's no equity or formal bonus structure. We're laying it all out there from the start.Overview : This is a new position, so we want someone with experience on the ground. In past positions, you’ve worked in-house, preferably for a private company in at least one of the following fields : technology, Software as a Service (SAAS), or service-based operations.Responsibilities : Help drive the company forward by bringing a legal perspective to the executive teamWork with management and stakeholders to help unblock legal hurdlesProvide oversight and take responsibility for all regulatory matters and contracts, along with all trademark, employment law, corporate governance and policies related to the organizationLead and inspire an existing team of legal professionals to perform at a high levelBalance legal risk and business savvy in the decision-making process to move the company forward in a way that promotes both commonsense and growthManage and oversee all legal aspects of the company’s business acquisitionsMinimum Qualifications : Law degree with 15 years of progressive legal experienceExperience managing teams of lawyers and legal professionalsAbility to effect change and accomplish goals through a collaborative leadership approachProven experience launching products and providing legal and regulatory advice on products at all stages of development in the tech spaceWork in-office 2-3 days / weekPreferred Qualifications : Sense of humor and ability to laugh at yourselfWhy you might like this job : You’re bored without a challenge.
