About You
Are you a creative with a passion for design and a track record of delivering high-quality work? Join our team as a Junior Designer and put your creative skills to work! At TASB, you'll craft visually compelling designs that embody our mission and core values, while providing innovative solutions that drive the success of our Communications, Marketing, and Events department. This is a hybrid role requiring selected candidate to work onsite at our TASB headquarters in North Austin two days a week and additional days for essential events and meetings.
A Typical Day
- Create eye-catching advertising campaigns, print and digital marketing collateral, event graphics, publications, presentations, and more that wow our internal clients.
- Work closely with our marketing and communications, media services, and print shop teams to bring fresh ideas to the table and execute top-notch visual solutions.
- Be a vital part of our design team, collaborating and contributing to a fun, productive, and creative work environment.
- Contribute to projects that make a real impact on our organization and the members we serve.

Skill for Success:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, or a related field.
- One or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing with Microsoft 365 products (Word, PowerPoint) a plus.
- Experience with animation software (e.g. After Effects) a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Knowledgeable of print production best practices, including preflight file preparation.
- Understanding of basic editing marks.
- Strong illustration skills are a plus.
