As we prepare for the busy holiday season, we are looking for an experienced Seasonal Bakery Associate who can bring skill, a positive attitude, and reliability to our team.

Job Overview:
The Seasonal Bakery Associate will play a key role in our holiday production by assisting in order processing, catering preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining inventory. This role requires a self-driven individual with a solid background in baking, or cake decorating, or cupcake decorating, who is comfortable working independently and excels in a structured, high-demand environment with minimal customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Processing: Accurately receive, confirm, and prepare online orders for customer pick-up and catering events.
• Production Support: Assist in preparing catering orders, including measuring ingredients, assembling baked goods, and performing basic decorating tasks (if needed).
• Inventory Management: Stock and organize ingredients and supplies; monitor inventory levels and report needs proactively.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organized, and well-stocked; assist with regular deep cleaning, equipment sanitation, and station organization.
• Quality Control: Follow bakery guidelines and quality standards, ensuring all products meet our high standards for taste, presentation, and freshness.
• Task Management: Work independently to prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly without constant supervision.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of professional experience in a bakery or food production environment; experience in cake/cupcake decorating is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in basic baking, measuring, and food preparation tasks; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professionalism: Excellent punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude; able to handle constructive feedback and adapt to tight deadlines.
• Physical Stamina: Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining our bakery’s high standards.
• Independence: Comfortable working alone and following procedures; able to self-motivate and manage time effectively.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: This is a seasonal role, with hours that may vary depending on workload and deadlines. Punctuality and attendance are critical. Monday thru Friday 9:30 - 3:30 PM. Some weekend work may be required for large catering orders.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
