The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and executing sales programs within the California territory. This position will drive revenue growth, manage key accounts, and develop new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurially minded, self-motivated, and eager to grow both the territory and their career.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned region
- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build relationships with potential customers
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Work closely with inside and outside sales representatives or distributors in the region
- Prepare and coordinate budgets, forecasts, and required reports for sales activities
- Conduct cold calls and prospecting to generate new business opportunities in industries such as transportation, shipping, and warehousing
- Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to refine sales strategies
- Represent TydenBrooks at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Work remotely while maintaining productivity, discipline, and efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial or technical product sales to end users, manufacturing plants, or distribution centers
- Documented success in B2B sales, qualifying leads, and converting them into opportunities
- Sales Mentality: Must be a hunter-type salesperson—motivated, energetic, and eager to build a strong book of business
- Customer-focused: Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Self-Discipline: Ability to work effectively and efficiently from a remote home office
- Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to sell, persuade, and close deals
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems
- Driver's License: Required for travel purposes
