What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at TYG?
We are currently looking for a Superintendent to join a well-established General Contractor in Texas. This is the chance to be placed onto various projects across, but not limited to, the Healthcare, Industrial and / or Manufacturing sectors, seeing out from conception all the way through to completion. Our Superintendent will need to boast excellent communication as well as management and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on maintaining the field.
Responsibilities include :
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize project efficiency.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures.
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to minimise delays and cost overruns.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance on-site, prioritising the well-being of all team members.
- Potential Travel around Texas and surrounding states
