What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at TYG?
Great opportunity for a Superintendent who wants to join an established GC who are going through an exciting growth phase in Austin, TX.
Established for over 30 years and all their projects are local, no risk of being asked to travel or sent out of state!
Great pipeline of work, their projects are typically in the range of $40M - $100M. Currently working on projects across education, commercial and hospitality in Austin region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation of construction projects
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
- Manage subcontractors and construction site organization
- Work in partnership with PM to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the project
- Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations and any deviation in the direction of the project
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in construction area, and communications skills
- Ability to read construction documents
- Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
- Strong experience in base building projects.
