Purpose
With the direction of the Site Leader this position will manage the total performance of the Site. This will include the direction of all facets of manufacturing process including safety, engineering, maintenance, quality, procurement and productivity. This position will manage resources to ensure continuous improvement, growth, and sustainability of the facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, directions and developmental activities for the operations function.
- Recruit, mentor, set goals, motivate, evaluate and coach employees.
- Develop plans for annual performance and employee development while managing to department budget
- Review and adjust weekly planned production schedule including daily priorities to ensure resources are efficiently allocated to achieve production and quality goals while maintaining a safe work environment. Ensure incidents are investigated, improvements implemented, and all policies followed.
- Review the work of direct reports and their staff ensuring production, usage, and cost targets are being met. Develop and implement through staff, plans to correct deficiencies while complying with all policies and procedures.
- Facilitate identification of process improvements that decrease costs, improve productivity/quality while maintaining a safe operation. This will include identification, development, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on these process improvement initiatives.
- Confers with management, safety, human resources, and maintenance staff to determine feasibility, cost effectiveness, and productivity impact on proposed changes.
- Provides direction and example for interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Work in a safe and healthy manner, adhering to all safety rules and practices.
- Represent the company’s core values of being committed, action oriented, and sustainable.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- Ten years manufacturing experience in Operations, Planning or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team
Salary : $110,000 - $145,000
