What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Imaging Specialist - Cardiology and Vascular position at Tyler Internal Medicine Associates, P.A.?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures which include echocardiography and vascular studies (Carotid Ultrasound, Stress Echocardiogram, Arterial and Venous exams)
- Prepare necessary equipment for procedures.
- Proper operation of equipment and performance of all ultrasound studies.
- Ensure that all patient studies are reviewed for accuracy and quality before assigning report to reading physician
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Adhere to compliance policies and procedures. Report any incident that appears unusual/deficient to department supervisor/manager or the compliance department.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Must be credentialed in both Echo and Vascular.
Experience:
Minimum one year related experience with echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.
Skills:
Good communication skills and basic computer skills are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
