As a PRN and part-time Ultrasound Vascular Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of echo and vascular ultrasound examinations.
Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and certified ultrasound technologist to join our vascular division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in echo and vascular ultrasound procedures and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echo and vascular ultrasound diagnostic procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Organize and document all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement activities by collecting and organizing data to ensure consistency with established standards.
- Maintain and care for equipment within the department.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound (ICAEL/ICAVL).
- CPR Certification.
- One year of related experience preferred.
- Completion of an accredited Echo/Vascular Ultrasound program.
