The Coordinator, Custodial Services is a non-exempt, full-time, 12 position which reports to the Director, Facilities & Construction.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of a janitorial services contract, ensuring that services are delivered according to established standards and contract terms, including conducting quality inspections, maintaining contractual relationships and resolving any issues that arise.Review scheduled cleaning tasks, monitor contractual performance, including conducting regular site audits, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and proactively identifying areas for improvement to optimize cleaning services. Identify potential issues with contracts and develop proactive solutions.Participate in negotiating contract renewals and amendments with cleaning service company.Establish and maintain high cleaning standards aligned with contractual expectations.Build and maintain positive relationships with cleaning service company through regular communication and feedback.Act as liaison between TJC Faculty/Staff and contracted cleaning services company, keeping everyone apprised of contract related matters.Maintain an open line of communication with Facilities and Construction department supervisors and Director.
