The Groundskeeper position is a full-time 12 month position that reports to the Supervisor, Landscaping and Grounds. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide upkeep of campus lawn to include; mowing, edging, fertilizing, seeding, trimming, and flowerbed maintenance.Help maintain the two creeks on campus.Work on a team to accomplish the goals laid out by the Grounds Supervisor.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, landscaping and grounds.CompetenciesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesCollaboration/Teamwork, Decision-making, Interpersonal Skills, Problem-solving, Time Management Preferred SkillsMaintenance, Organizational Skills, Project ManagementWork Environment: Work rarely required outside of normal business hoursPhysical Demands: Sitting, Walking, Standing, Lifting, Operating Light Equipment, DrivingTravel Required: Yes - MinimalIf travel is required, candidate must have and maintain a current valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
