A Student Assistant (SA) at TJC plays an important role in promoting the mission of the department/office and college. The SA is required to perform various clerical tasks that aide in maintaining an organized workflow of the department/office. This position provides support to the College’s overall payment processes. The focus is on vendor file maintenance and providing timely and thorough customer service.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provide stellar customer service when answering departmental phone calls. Assist with preparing records required to support the accounts payable function for auditing purposes. Participate in cross training of other accounts payable functions.
