Description
A Work Study, Computer Lab Attendant must be willing and able to report to an off-campus location at the Tyler Public Library. This position will perform various customer service tasks, such as assisting public library patrons with basic computer lab needs.
Essential Functions and Duties
Primary Responsibilities
- Assists with patron needs in public computer lab including but not limited to form completion, printing, and web navigation.
- Answers basic questions and/or refers visitors to the appropriate point of contact or resource
- Report statistical data regarding assistance provided by the end of the workday.
- May assist computer lab staff with clerical tasks as needed

Qualifications
Students must be registered in at least two undergraduate classes and maintain enrollment status to work in these positions. Students must qualify for Federal Work Study, which will be determined by the Office of Financial Aid. Student must maintain satisfactory academic progress (2.0 GPA,67% pace rate, will not exceed 150% of their degree plan).
Additional Job Specific Requirements
Students are allowed to work a maximum of eighteen (18) hours per week and cannot work in multiple hourly positions. A work week is Sunday-Saturday.
