Job Summary
Our growing Construction Management team is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team in the City of Buffalo.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect and supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications.
- Coordinate material testing, review contractor submittals, requests for information and coordinate with the contractor.
- Prepare and maintain submission logs.
- Coordinate contractor’s Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) setup and ensure compliance with approved plans and local agencies requirements.
- Understanding permit requirements and ensure compliance on construction sites.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and assist RE in preparing monthly progress reports.
- Qualifications require a minimum of at least 5 years of construction/engineering with water/sewer work.
- Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- OSHA 30-hour safety course certification preferred.
